Drafted 6th overall in 2017 out of Florida State, Jonathan Isaac signed with Nike prior to the 2017 NBA draft. In his one-and-done year at FSU, Isaac wore a number of shoes from his hero Kevin Durant’s line, in particular two team colorways of the Trey 5 series.
Wearing Nike Kyries in his first few seasons in the NBA, Isaac then found himself injured for two seasons, unable to take the court. But after making his long-awaited return to the Magic roster, Isaac briefly opted for his trusty Nike Kyrie 5s, before making a the unusual decision to begin his own shoe brand, dubbed UNITUS. The faith-based clothing company aims to instill its products with elements of Isaac’s deeply held beliefs, and released its first signature sneaker, the Judah 1, in time for the 2023-24 season.
