Trae Young has signed a multi-year deal with Adidas, and debuted his first signature shoe — the Adidas Trae Young — during the Hawks 2021 playoff run.
Young was one of the most coveted rookies for the big shoe companies in the 2018 draft class, and the prolific point guard opted to sign a multi-year shoe deal with adidas just prior to the draft. Before his signature shoe dropped, Young tended to mix in some of Adidas’ more off-the-wall shoes, and for a time became the face of the futuristic N3XT L3V3Ls. He introduced the N3XT L3V3L 2020s in the 2020 All-Star game.
As a college baller, Young wore Nike Kyrie 4 shoes on court for the Oklahoma Sooners. He played himself into the lottery pick discussion for 2018 with his standout season, and ended up being drafted 5th overall that year.
