Review consensus

Retrospective coverage calls the T-Mac 6 the most technically advanced shoe in McGrady's line, built around a pod-based system meant to extend the foot's contact with the floor. WearTesters says it looked like a strong on-court performer but doubted the pods worked as promised, and SneakerHistory calls it the best-engineered and least loved of the numbered T-Macs.

About the shoe

The adidas T-Mac 6 is the last numbered model in Tracy McGrady’s adidas signature line, released for the 2006-07 NBA season while he played for the Houston Rockets. The main change from the T-Mac 5 is a redesigned outsole built around the Ground Control System, which adidas developed with Salomon. It uses independent cushioning pods held together by TPU for stability. The upper also carries more overlays than any other model in the line.
