Review consensus

No performance reviews of the TS Lightspeed Duncan turned up in available sources. The design was built to cut weight, and adidas called it the lightest performance basketball shoe it had made at the time.

About the shoe

The adidas TS Lightspeed Duncan was Tim Duncan’s version of the TS Lightspeed, released in October 2007 as part of adidas’s first Team Signature line, which also included versions for Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, Chauncey Billups, Gilbert Arenas and Dwight Howard. It followed the Stealth Duncan, his 2006-07 shoe, which used ClimaCool midfoot ventilation and an EVA midsole. Adidas billed the TS Lightspeed as its lightest performance basketball shoe to date, pairing a synthetic leather upper with adiPRENE+ forefoot cushioning and a compression-molded EVA midsole. Duncan’s version has a “2Malik” tribute to former teammate Malik Sealy embroidered on the inner arch.
