About the shoe
The 6 was originally released in 1991, and was worn by Michael Jordan during his first championship season with the Bulls. The shoe was rereleased in 2000, with the Jumpman logo replacing the Nike Air branding, and in 2002, with the introduction of a low-top version. On its 23rd anniversary in 2014, Jordan brand went all out, releasing numerous colorways and styles throughout the year, including a retro version with the original Nike Air branding.
