Review Consensus

The Swiftace has been described as feeling like a super runner built for the basketball court, with the SpeedTruss plate giving it a fast, propulsive ride. The tacky traction grips well indoors and the eyelet loop system helps containment, but the midsole feels firm, the fit runs long and the $200 price puts it against strong rivals.

Release Date: January 2026

The Swiftace is an Asics basketball model developed and tested with Yuki Kawamura, built for players who rely on speed and quick footwork. It is a new model, not an update of an earlier shoe, and it launched in the US as the Swiftace Yuki, which carries Kawamura’s autograph and the phrase “Grateful for where I am” on the tongue. The two-piece midsole pairs FlyteFoam in the heel with FlyteFoam Propel in the forefoot, with a SpeedTruss plate for acceleration. With a retail price of $200, the Swiftace Yuki came in Clear Blue/Evening Teal and Black/Red.
