Review consensus

No published performance reviews of the Aero Jam could be found. The original design was built around Converse's REACT cushioning in the heel and ankle, with a removable lace shroud over the lacing.

About the shoe

The Converse Aero Jam is the signature shoe of Charlotte Hornets forward Larry Johnson. It was first released in 1993 and promoted through Converse’s “Grandmama” ad campaign. The original design had visible REACT cushioning compartments in the heel and ankle, a Visiheel and a removable lace shroud, and the available sources do not give its original retail price. Converse brought the shoe back under its CONS line on November 14, 2013, at $109.99, but that retro left out the REACT cushioning.
