The Li-Ning BD Defend is the second signature shoe for Baron Davis, following the BD Doom, and carries over many of that model’s design elements. Li-Ning gave it a simpler, classic-cut upper with a computer-stitched stretch synthetic through the toe and tongue, and moved the Beardman logo from the inner ankle to the top of the tongue. The white/blue version was designed for Davis’s home games with the Clippers and launched at Champs Sports stores across the US in January 2011. It retailed for $100.
