The Gamma 1 is the first model in Li-Ning’s Gamma line, a new flagship basketball series named after gamma-ray bursts that debuted at the 2024 CBA All-Star Weekend. Rather than following an earlier model, it takes design cues from marathon running shoes, pairing a thin TPU yarn upper with full-length Boom foam and a carbon-fiber plate at under 300 grams in a US 9. Fred VanVleet wore it during the Houston Rockets’ 2025 playoff run. US retailer Shopnings lists the Galaxy colorway at $299.99.
