The fifth edition of Dwyane Wade’s signature shoe, this version is not significantly different than its predecessor, the Way of Wade 4. Released in 2016 during Wade’s summer tour of China, the WoW 5 is Wade’s first shoe since joining his hometown Chicago Bulls. In 2016-17, an iridescent version of the shoe was released as an “All-Star” edition despite the fact that Wade was not named to that year’s All-Star team.
