Review consensus

Reviewers praise the bouncy, responsive ZoomX and Zoom Strobel cushioning and the strong bite of the traction on clean courts. The main complaints are a very narrow, stiff synthetic upper that takes time to break in and lateral stability that falls short during hard cuts.

About the shoe

The G.T. Cut 4 is the fourth model in Nike’s guard-focused G.T. Cut line and is worn by Dylan Harper, who has a Metallic Rose Gold/Deep Maroon player edition with his logo on the heel. It builds on the G.T. Cut 3, the first in the series with a ZoomX midsole, and pairs a full-length drop-in ZoomX 3.0 midsole with a full-length Zoom Strobel. Other changes include a new generative traction pattern, an RBR-X forefoot stabilizer, a Cushlon carrier and an exoskeleton-style containment upper. It launched at $200, and Nike now lists some colorways at $210.
