The Nike KD 19 is a departure from the most recent models in Kevin Durant’s line, with a traction pattern that harkens back to the KD 4 and Zoom Strobel cushioning that hasn’t featured in the line since the KD 15. It uses a molded synthetic upper with a similar look to other recent Nike sneakers like the GT Future. The gusseted tongue and internal lacing system deliver when it comes to comfort and lockdown and, though it does require some break-in time, it has an overall true to size fit without the forefoot pinching that many players have found problematic in recent Nike sneakers. It debuted in the vibrant “University Red” colorway, with other options including “Hyper Pink”, “Gorge Green”, and “Photo Blue” releasing in summer 2026.
