Review Consensus

The AW2 is built for explosive play, with a carbon plate set between two foams for a quick first step and a rubber outsole whose grip reviewers describe as a strong point. Reviews of the cushioning are mixed, and some wearers found the step-in comfort less impressive than expected before break-in.

Release Date: November 2023

The AW2 is the second signature shoe Peak made for Andrew Wiggins, built for versatile players at the 3 and 4 positions. It keeps the Taichi and P-Ultralight foams from the AW1 with a carbon plate between them, now marketed as the “Three Core” midsole, and pairs it with an updated traction pattern and a Surface Pro upper. Personal details include Wiggins’ logo on the TPU heel piece, his signature on the lace loop and his number 22 on the tongue. Peak’s Puerto Rico store lists it at $149.99.
