About the shoe
At one point, Reebok was a powerhouse in the industry, with superstars like Shaq and Iverson representing their brand. However, the shoe giant has been on a steady decline and had only two athletes wearing its shoes as of the 2016-17 season: the aging Jason Terry and oft-injured Ramon Sessions. When Terry retires and Sessions’ contract expires, Reebok will be left without a single NBA player wearing its sneakers. The ZPump Rise may be the company’s last hurrah in the NBA for some time.
