The final shoe in Stephen Curry’s decade-plus line with Under Armour, the Curry 13 features some significant changes from recent predecessors. It has a mid-cut profile with a padded ankle collar, a departure from past low-top models. While it retains the Flow outsole from other Curry sneakers, it uses a new high-abrasion material that is heavier and more durable. This is wrapped by an external splash cage that adds more stability and an extra design element over the textile upper. Overall, the silhouette looks more fluid and has a distinctive aesthetic that prompted love/hate reactions from fans. It released in five colorways inspired by the Sony Pictures film GOAT, which Curry worked on as a producer. These include the red and yellow on black “Mane”, the pink to green “Will”, and the lavender “Lenny.”
