The Breakthru 5 is part of Under Armour’s women’s-specific Breakthru basketball line and is worn by WNBA guard Kelsey Plum, who has received several player-exclusive colourways. It keeps the UA Flow cushioning and rubberless Flow outsole, a breathable UA IntelliKnit upper and a 3D-molded TPE-blend sockliner. The main change from the Breakthru 4 is a female-specific nylon shank in place of the previous Pebax shank, paired with a synthetic suede overlay for lightweight stability. General release colourways retail for $125, with special editions priced higher.
