The Lockdown 7 performs well above its price point, and is among the best budget sneakers on the market. Improvements to the traction pattern give players even more control than with the Lockdown 6 and the solid rubber is durable enough for outdoor play. The EVA cushioning is lightweight and responsive without sacrificing impact protection, while its upper is well-ventilated and locks down the foot well.

The Under Armour Lockdown line has consistently delivered high performance on a budget, and they continue that tradition with the Lockdown 7. The mesh upper is breathable, with EVA cushioning that’s comfortable out of the box with minimal break-in time. The biggest change from the previous version is the traction, which features a new outsole pattern for more consistent grip during lateral movements. Its fit is true to size and very forgiving thanks to the stretchy materials used in the upper, which also makes it a strong choice for players with wide feet.
