Jordan Tatum

Jayson Tatum has been one of the NBA’s top forwards since the Boston Celtics drafted him third overall in 2017, and he was named to the All-Rookie First Team in his first season. After about a year and a half with Nike, he signed with Jordan Brand in the summer of 2019 on a reported five-year, $75 million deal. He wore models like the Air Jordan 34, 35 and 36 before getting his own line.

Tatum unveiled his first signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 1, at the 2023 All-Star Weekend in Utah. It launched that year for $120 in colorways including “Zoo” and “Barbershop.” It was built on a lightweight TPU frame wrapped in ground-contact foam that also served as the traction pattern, with an uncaged Zoom Air unit in the forefoot, and a men’s size 9 weighed under 12 ounces. The kids’ version added a hands-free collapsible heel. The Tatum 2 followed in March 2024 with the “Mommas Boy” colorway, which honored his mother, Brandy. Jordan Brand’s designers mapped the pressure points on Tatum’s foot and added soft textile cushioned pods to the midsole, along with a full-length strobel. In October 2024, after Tatum helped Boston win the 2024 NBA championship, the Tatum 3 arrived in the “Welcome to the Garden” colorway. It paired Cushlon 3.0 foam with Zoom Air and had an engineered mesh upper based on data from the Nike Sport Research Lab. The Tatum 4 launched on October 10, 2025, in a “St. Louis” colorway named for his hometown. It combined forefoot Zoom Air with a midfoot shank, an S-seam strobel and a multi-traction outsole.
