Big man JaVale McGee joined the Warriors for the championship 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons after several injury-riddled seasons with the Nuggets, 76ers and Mavericks. Now with the Kings, the 7′ center with size 18 feet currently wears Zoom Rize 2 shoes, which are popular with many other big men around the league.
In his early years in the league, McGee was sponsored by Chinese brand Peak. During the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest, McGee famously wore five different colorways of the Peak Relentless shoe, but ultimately lost the competition to Blake Griffin. Peak actually released a pair of signature JaVale McGee shoes in 2011, though the sneakers were not available for purchase in the US.
