Senegalese big man Mouhamed Gueye moved to the United States at 16 and played his first organized basketball at Prolific Prep in California, then earned All-Pac-12 first-team honors at Washington State. Charlotte drafted him 39th overall in 2023 and traded his rights to the Atlanta Hawks. Gueye has worn Nike in every tracked game, mostly the Nike Book 1, with occasional pairs of the Nike KD 18.
