The Nike KD 18 was released in the 2nd quarter of 2025 and was something of a throwback to previous Nike and KD designs. It was first unveiled for the NBA All-Star Weekend as part of Nike’s Black Label collection, with additional colorways following in the spring of 2025. Its main new performance feature is the midfoot cage, which promises to improve lockdown for better control and comfort. The design melds classic elements from the ’90s with Durant’s contemporary style. Its multi-colored “New Timeline” debut retail colorway drew inspiration from Durant’s long line of legendary sneakers.
