About the shoe
The adidas TS Ace Commander is Candace Parker’s first signature shoe. Released in 2010, it was the first signature basketball shoe Adidas made for a woman. As the first model in the line, it had no signature predecessor. Parker helped design it and asked for two features: a midfoot support strap for stability and a multicolored outsole inspired by Skittles candy. The shoe uses an EVA midsole with adiPRENE cushioning and Climacool ventilation. It came in Los Angeles Sparks-inspired colorways and in team editions matched to uniform colors.
