About the shoe
The adidas Pistol Lo is a low-top adidas Originals model that pays tribute to “Pistol” Pete Maravich, college basketball’s all-time leading scorer, with his name printed on the side of the shoe. Rather than a modern performance design, its styling is taken from late-1970s basketball shoes. It has a leather upper with 3-Stripes that run down the heel and into the rubber outsole, and the Maravich colourway adds metal eyelets. Sources date its launch to 2006, although one resale listing gives 2005, and no source found lists the original retail price.
