Review consensus

There are few reviews of the TS Lightspeed. A 2007 user review praised the traction for stopping and defending, and said the upper kept feet cool. The same reviewer said the sock liner caused slipping until they switched to cotton socks.

About the shoe

The TS Lightspeed Chauncey is Chauncey Billups’ second signature shoe with adidas, made for the 2007-08 NBA season. It followed the C-Billups from 2006-07. It came out in October 2007 as part of adidas’ first “Team Signature” line, which also included versions for Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, Tracy McGrady and Gilbert Arenas. Adidas called the shoe the lightest performance basketball shoe it had ever made. It has a synthetic leather upper, adiPRENE+ forefoot cushioning and a compression-molded EVA midsole.
