Chauncey Billups was drafted third overall in 1997 by the Boston Celtics out of Colorado. He played for Boston, Toronto, Denver, Minnesota, Detroit (2002–08, 2013–14), New York and the LA Clippers through 2014. He became Portland Trail Blazers head coach in 2021 and has been on leave since his October 2025 arrest on federal gambling charges, to which he pleaded not guilty. Adidas made him signature shoes: the C-Billups (2006) and TS Lightspeed Chauncey (2007).
