Converse is now a few years into its return to the performance basketball market, and they seem to be leaning on wilder designs with core Nike performance functionality. Enter the awkwardly named All Star BB Trilliant CX (a mouthful if there ever was one) with its alien patterns and layers. The shoe features Air Zoom in the forefoot and multidimensional tread, which suit Converse’s superstar — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — quite well.
