Review Consensus
Reviewers rate the 247 NXT as an improvement on the original, with traction as its standout feature and a lower Pebax ride that balances court feel with impact protection. The corrected true-to-size fit and strong lateral stability make it an all-round indoor option, though the soft rubber is not recommended for outdoor courts.
Release Date: March 2026
The EQLZ 247 NXT is the follow-up to the 247, the first performance basketball model from EQLZ. The biggest change is to the upper, which moves from the original’s sock-like build to a traditional construction with a separate padded tongue, correcting the first model’s tendency to run a half size long. The footbed also sits lower to the floor over a Pebax supercritical foam midsole housed in an EVA carrier, while the upper blends TPU-reinforced textile with patent leather. It launched at a retail price of $125, with some colourways such as Bubble Gum listed at $140.
