The KAWHI is another solid outing from New Balance. Not too flashy (like Kawhi himself), but the shoe performs well under a heavy-duty workload.

Debuted by Kawhi Leonard during the 2019-20 NBA All Star Game, the KAWHI is the first shoe in Leonard’s signature line with New Balance (the OMN1S was the first basketball shoe released by Leonard but was evidently not considered to be a signature shoe).

The shoe has a FuelCell midsole and a new full-length performance plate that is designed with cutting, jumping, and stability in mind. The upper is made with Kinetic Stitch, a data-driven thread application that helps control movement.
