Review Consensus

The Fresh Foam BB V3 improves on the V2, which was already one of the top options in the New Balance catalog. It has better traction, more support, and a wider toe box, though it still has a snug fit that might require players with wide feet to go up half a size.

Release Date: February 14, 2025

The New Balance Fresh Foam BB V3 first hit shelves in a pop-up shop in collaboration with designer Bricks & Wood during the 2025 NBA All-Star weekend. It launched in the “A Different Bounce” colorway, whose black and yellow theme gave a nod to San Francisco. The sneaker launched online for the general public in April, with additional colorways releasing in the summer and fall of 2025, including the sleek and classy “Streetball” and the clean and classic “NB Academy.” Similar in design to the Fresh Foam BB V2, the V3 uses a mesh upper with a Fresh Foam midsole and dual TPU shanks.
