Review consensus

The Air Zoom Kidd is remembered more for its concept than for how it played. WearTesters calls the Morph series "not great performers on court" but one of the most unusual ideas Nike has released, built around a removable bootie that can move between different signature skins.

About the shoe

The Nike Air Zoom Kidd, sometimes called the Air Kidd, is Jason Kidd’s second signature shoe, following the Nike Air Zoom Flight Five. It came out of Nike’s Alpha Project and belonged to the Morph series, which NiceKicks dates to 2001, alongside signature models for Scottie Pippen and Gary Payton. The main change from the Flight Five is a two-piece “shoe within a shoe” build: a removable inner bootie fits into any matching Morph skin, so wearers could swap between signature uppers. None of the sources found give its original retail price.
