Nike Air Worm Ndestrukt
Released Summer 19961 player
About the shoe
The Nike Air Worm Ndestrukt is a low-top basketball shoe that Nike released in summer 1996 under Dennis Rodman’s “Worm” nickname, as part of his Ndestrukt line. It features a metal-shrouded zipper over the laces, a metal heel pull-ring, a visible encapsulated Air unit and cartoon-style “Air Worm” branding on the heel. Rodman reportedly had little input on the design, disliked the heel logo and wore the Air Shake Ndestrukt on court instead. Available sources give no retail price, and a retro teased by Nike designer Frank Cooke in August 2026 has not been officially announced.
