Review Consensus
Early reviews call the Caitlin 1 one of the most stable shoes available, thanks to a large lateral outrigger and a reinforced forefoot that keep the foot contained on cuts. The dense Cushlon 3.0 and Zoom Turbo setup favours responsiveness and court feel over plushness and needs a short break-in period.
Release Date: Unconfirmed (reported as October 1, 2026)
The Nike Caitlin 1 is Caitlin Clark’s first signature shoe and the start of her signature collection with Nike. Because it is a debut model, it has no predecessor. Nike built it around three goals Clark set for the design team: a quicker first step, a faster step-back and a faster shot release. It pairs a new Nike Opticast upper, which is covered in small nodes and has “CC” and “22” details molded in, with a full-length Cushlon midsole and a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit. It retails for $140 in adult sizes, $115 in grade-school sizes and $105 in preschool sizes.
