Iowa product Luka Garza, the 2021 Naismith Player of the Year and the Hawkeyes’ all-time leading scorer, was taken 52nd overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2021 draft. After three seasons in Minnesota, he signed a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics in July 2025.
