About the shoe
The Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro is Nike’s performance reissue of the low-cut version of Kobe Bryant’s ninth signature shoe, which first launched in 2013. It debuted in the all-white “Halo” colourway on September 19, 2024, following the high-top Halo Protro released that August. The Flyknit upper, carbon fiber plating and herringbone-style outsole carry over largely unchanged from the original, while the main update is a new drop-in midsole that adds Nike React foam for greater responsiveness. It launched at a retail price of $210.
