Review consensus

Reviewers called the Kidd III the lightest shoe in Peak's Kidd line, a result of thinner, lower-density midsole foam. That lean setup gives strong forefoot court feel for active guards. The trade-off is less impact protection over long sessions, and the foam heel counter still allows some heel movement.

About the shoe

The Peak Kidd III is the third signature shoe Chinese brand Peak made for Jason Kidd. He wore it during the 2010-11 season and the Dallas Mavericks’ run to the 2011 NBA title. Compared with the Kidd II, it drops layers from the build and uses thinner, lower-density midsole foam, which made it the lightest Peak basketball shoe at the time. Heel support comes from a large foam heel counter. Colorways included Mavericks home and away versions and a White/Purple pair sold through PeakShoesUSA, and the sources give no retail price.
