The upper and cushioning of the FUTR X 4 are similar to the FUTR X 3, and it's similarly responsive and supportive. The shape of the outsole is the most significant change, providing more court feel along with faster cuts and stops.

The Under Armour FUTR X 4 uses their unique Flow technology, and aims to be a go-to all-around performance sneaker. Like past FUTR X silhouettes, it uses a Supercritical Flow foam outsole that also functions as the midsole,  a setup designed to increase court feel and bounce. Compared to previous iterations, the X 4 has a more pronounced curve in the toe and a sleeker profile overall, with an IntelliKnit upper supported by an adjustable strap.
