The X2 is the second basketball shoe from barefoot footwear brand Xero Shoes, following the X1, and is promoted by NBA big man Isaiah Stewart. It debuts Xero’s FeelTrue MAX sole, which uses a thin SPU outsole that the brand says is lighter and grippier than rubber, with a herringbone pattern for hardwood. The shoe keeps the X1’s zero-drop platform and foot-shaped toe box, with a 12.5mm stack height and a listed weight of 12.4 oz in men’s size 10. It retails for $169.99 in men’s and women’s versions.
