This year with the Wizards, Anthony Davis is wearing the Kobe 4 Protros. Which sounds familiar to us, as Davis started his stint with the Lakers in 2019 by wearing the very same Kobe 4 Protros, before switching over to the Kobe 5 Protros later in the season, including his stunning pair of Trophy Gold 5s that he wore in the NBA Finals. After debuting Nike’s newest silhouette in 2021, the Cosmic Unity, Davis settled for a few seasons on his former teammate’s signature Nike LeBrons.
In his pre-Laker years, Davis had worn other Nike silhouettes like the Air Max Dominate, Air Max Audacity, and Kobe AD Exodus shoes. Davis’ most interesting PE of his career so far has been “The Brow,” a version of the Nike Air Max Audacity. The Brow features a Battle Grey upper, a unique PE tongue patch, midsole speckling, and accents of Deep Garnett throughout for a simple, refined look.
