Cleveland native Enrique Freeman walked on at Akron and led the NCAA in rebounding in 2024 before the Indiana Pacers drafted him 50th overall. After a rookie season in Indiana, he signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2025 and re-signed in July 2026. On court he has worn Nike models, including the Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3, the Book 1 “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and the KD 18.
