Karim Lopez became the first Mexican-born player selected in the first round of the NBA Draft when the Memphis Grizzlies took him 21st overall in 2026. The forward came through the NBL Next Stars program with the New Zealand Breakers. Lopez has a multi-year deal with adidas and has worn the adidas AE3 “Stone Onix” and AE2 “Tie Dye” on court.
