Lisa Leslie played center at USC and joined the Los Angeles Sparks through the WNBA’s 1997 initial player allocation. She spent her whole career with the Sparks from 1997 to 2009, missing 2007 for a pregnancy. She has been a Sparks co-owner since 2011 and works as an Orlando Magic studio analyst. Leslie negotiated her own Nike deal after college, and Nike released her signature shoe, the Nike Total Air 9, in 1998.
