Once deemed an “untouchable” piece of the Lakers rebuilding effort, 2016’s 2nd overall draft pick Brandon Ingram was shipped off to the New Orleans Pelicans via the huge Anthony Davis trade.
Soon after joining the league, Ingram signed with Adidas, where he became one of the main faces of the BYW and Crazy Explosive shoes, and then frequently rotated between the Adidas Zoneboost and T-Mac Millennium shoes.
But in September 2021 after his Adidas deal expired, Ingram shifted back to Nike for the first time since college, primarily wearing Kyrie 7s while waiting for another shoe (contract) to drop. And when it did, it was big news. Ingram signed with Jordan Brand in the summer of 2023, hot off the heels of his strong performance with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup. He’s now wearing the Air Jordan 38s.
