Tristen Newton won back-to-back national championships at UConn in 2023 and 2024 after starting his college career at East Carolina. The Indiana Pacers drafted him 49th overall in the 2024 NBA draft. After stints with the Pacers, Timberwolves and Rockets, he joined the Sacramento Kings on a training camp deal. On court, Newton has worn the Nike Kobe 8, the Kobe 8 Venice Beach and the Kobe 6 Reverse Grinch.
