Victor Wembanyama, the 7’4″ unicorn who has PG handles, a smooth shot and the length and speed of Giannis, was the 1st overall selection in 2023 and the immediate center of attention on the San Antonio Spurs.

In his first game in the United States, Wembanyama wore massive Nike Air Zoom GT Run shoes during play between his Metropolitans 92 squad and the G League Ignite. He donned those sneakers again during his Summer League debut for the Spurs.
