The story
Though Butler first signed with Adidas when joining the NBA, the draw of the iconic Jordan brand was so strong for him that he reportedly took a major pay cut to switch back.
But in early January 2020, it was reported that Butler had finally parted ways with Jordan Brand, and proceeded to sign with Li-Ning, the upstart Chinese sneaker brand, which he will headline along with retired star Dwyane Wade. After trading off between the YuShuai and Speed silhouettes, Butler finally has a signature silhouette of his own: the JB series (now on its fourth iteration).
