About the shoe
The adidas C-Billups was the first signature shoe adidas made for Chauncey Billups, released in 2006 while he played for the Detroit Pistons. Complex described it as bringing classic late-’80s style to a game shoe. Billups wore it through the 2006-07 season and wore a red, white and blue pair with stars at the 2006 All-Star Game. As the first model in his line it had no predecessor, and it uses a synthetic upper, a compression-molded EVA midsole, a Torsion midfoot support system and a gum rubber outsole.
