Issue #7 is the strongest performer in Donovan Mitchell's signature series to date. It keeps the consistent radial traction from the D.O.N. Issue #6 but improves on the support, with a midfoot plate that prevents twisting without sacrificing flexibility. The lightweight Lightstrike cushioning also improves over the comfort and court feel of previous models.

The Adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 was unveiled at the 2025 All-Star weekend and made its on-court debut during Donovan Mitchell’s 2025 NBA playoff run with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It released at a $120 retail price in three colors, including the sunset-hued “Camp” colorway inspired by the Issue #6 model given to attendees of Donovan’s Elite Camp. The upper features a textile base with a reinforced curved grid over the toe and a zipper shroud to add extra stability to the lacing. Other design details include Mitchell’s Spida logo on the tongue and an abstract version of the Adidas Three Stripes along the sides.
