Donovan Mitchell unveiled the 8th shoe in his line with Adidas during Game 1 of the 2026 playoffs in the red-and-blue “Spida-Man” colorway that gives a nod to his nickname. The “Silver Spida” and “Electric Blue” colorways soon followed, with more on the schedule for the second half of 2026. Like past versions of the D.O.N., Issue #8 is built for speed and precision, with a lightweight design and breathable textile upper. The cushioning is the most significant upgrade over past D.O.N. sneakers, with exposed midsole foam and a full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole that give it a lot of bounce and a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
