Review Consensus
No full performance reviews of the P400 Low have been published yet. The design is built for guards and wings who want more ankle mobility and court feel than the mid-top P400 offers while keeping its lockdown around the heel and midfoot.
Release Date: July 16, 2026
The New Balance P400 Low is a low-top version of the P400, New Balance’s performance basketball model that first released in February 2026, and it was debuted on court by Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink. It keeps the dual-density Fresh Foam X midsole from the mid-top but lowers the collar and internal heights for more ankle mobility and ground feel, and it uses a redesigned nylon plate for a snappier transition. N-Lock overlays tied to the lacing support the midfoot over a structured molded upper. It launched at a retail price of $120.
