Kawhi Leonard may be the most complete player in the world, so it’s somewhat surprising that he doesn’t yet have a signature shoe of his own. Since joining the NBA, Kawhi has been with Jordan Brand, and has been regarded as one of the most high profile players to wear the Air Jordan, along with fellow superstar Russell Westbrook.
His flashy Jordan PEs have featured the evocative “Klaw” logo on the tongues, but those days may soon be over. Now a member of the Raptors, Kawhi’s footwear future is suddenly looking cloudy. His deal with Jordan Brand is set to expire in the fall, which has led to rampant speculation about which shoe company will scoop up the mercurial All-NBA star.
