Kawhi Leonard may be the most complete player in the world and he finally has a signature shoe deal to match his talent level. On November 28, 2018, it was announced that Leonard had signed a multi-year deal with New Balance. The company is trying to establish itself as a legitimate player in the sneaker game, and the deal with Leonard will be quite instrumental in that process.
There are no details yet available as to whether Leonard will wear an existing New Balance shoe while his signature shoe is under development. In the meantime, he continues to wear the Air Jordan 32 Lows despite the fact that his deal with Jordan Brand expired prior to the start of the 2018-19 season.
Since joining the NBA, Kawhi had been with Jordan Brand, and was regarded as one of the most high profile players to wear the Air Jordan, along with fellow superstar Russell Westbrook. His flashy Jordan PEs featured the evocative “Klaw” logo on the tongues.
